Leprechaun Lonestar, known as Chauner is doing great things with Kiira Troth in Bozeman, Montana, as are his full brothers, Leprechaun Rowdy Boy and Leprechaun Liam. All three of these 3/4 bred geldings are sired by Bar S Tex and out of Katie Scarlet (Lynfield's Cormac McCarthy x Confederate Doll). |

Leprechaun's Ballyconnel and Leprechaun's Aileen now both live in North Texas, just like their sire. Aileen is now with her new owner, a promising young rider. Ballyconnel, known as Elle, is now for sale, but has been doing wonderfully in hand and under saddle. |
Many People have heard the sad tale of the Connemara pony who died in a tragic barn fire in 2001. That pony's name was Leprechaun's Shekainah, affectionately called Bayfire by her new owner. She was bred by Louise Winter in Sequim, WA and was sired by Bar S Tex. Bayfire was out of a thoroughbred mare named Gismo's Girl, and was the third foal this mare had by Tex. The second foal is the above Leprechaun's Celtic Prince, the first is a bay gelding named Leprechaun's Paris Hope who is an exceptional performance horse in Washington state. Bayfire was Gismo's only filly (and Gismo tragically died a few weeks after Bayfire was born, leaving the filly an orphan). This is a tribute to Bayfire, a promising young mare cut down in her prime, and to Gismo, one of the sweetest Thoroughbred mares that ever lived, we are sure they are together wherever they are. |
Leprechaun's Millenium, our own little Millie was one month old when this picture was taken. She is now Two, and livng on our new farm in Texas. Millie is by Bar S Tex and the only filly out of Leprechaun Lily to date. Lily is now living with Barbara in Iowa, along with Lily's stallion son by Custusha's Cashel Rock, Leprechaun Stonemason. Orchard Hills Molly Malone is now with Barbara as well as her 2001 filly by Bar S Tex. The filly is affectionately known as Ginny, and promises to be every bit as much of a stunner as her full sister Leprechaun's Ballyconnell. Recent Farm News! On April 8, 2002 Katie Scarlet gave birth to a bouncing baby boy (and I MEAN bouncing!). The beautiful bay colt with a huge star is the only colt that Katie has ever had with our previous junior stallion, Leprechaun Stonemason, so is very special to us. Katie has previously given us six beautiful foals by Tex (three colts, all in Montana and three fillies, one in Texas, one in Idaho and one in Washington). The new colt is the boldest, bravest, most curious colt I have EVER raised. He still has no name yet as we are trying to find the most perfect one. I think he looks like his great grandsire Texas Hope. He is Texas Hope bred top and bottom. |
Leprechaun Farm who's who: Bar S Tex has sired a lot of foals over the past 14 years, beginning with Leprechaun's Lonestar and up to Leprechaun's Millenium. I will try and keep this website updated with all of his foals. I will also include all of the foals that Leprechaun Stonemason had while he was with us.
